Re: Rear Brake Refurb
Cheers Guys!
Campbell, will try taking apart and trying to free them first. Hopefully will be some minor.
Handbrake holds the car on a slope but the rear brakes don't seem to be causing much friction on the disc under normal braking so maybe it is a stuck slider! Fingers crossed!

I know you can buy a refurb kit from Eliseparts and Eliseshop but was wondering if there was anyone who'd do it for you? Have access to swap over the bra...

Re: Bootbag Lid Cover
I already have a highly sophisticated stick for accessing the engine! Tis even painted silver to match the car (not my doing)! :D Reason for the cover is more for moving stuff in and out the boot. I had looked at fabricating a prop of sorts but im not great at the whole fabrication thing! Tut you ha...

I have the older style clam on my S1 and all that is left is the remnants of a broken hinge on the aluminium divider. Does a...

Re: Wheel refurb
I used Powedertec, just off of Paisley Road near the Kingston bridge. Really friendly service and I am very happy with the finished result. I had my S1 AWI wheels refurbed and powdercoated to Satin Black (they have a large choice of colours) and it was £260 (in June 2010) for a 1 day service. Droppe...
