The Renault Alpine is surely a better match for Lotus.

Re: New toy
Fitted my 330d M Sport Tourer (F31) with the AC Scnitzer springs as when I bought it M Sport suspension wasn't an option.
All I can say is brilliant, do it you won't regret it and it's a very cost effective upgrade that won't affect the warranty.

Re: Road biking braking
Big move amongst manufacturers now is towards hydraulic disc brakes so much more in keeping with your mtb background so maybe try that option. Having said that correctly setup rim brakes with the likes of Swissstop pads are hugely effective.

A women living near me drives a matt pink full fat Range Rover but I'm guessing it's simply a wrap.

Re: Grand Tour Series 3 the last?
The Grand Tour has been a bit of a dissapointment for me and I am actually favouring the new Top Gear.
Clarkson and co should stick to making specials as the rest of the show is a bit cringeworthy.

Re: Roof boxes
I need to bite the bullet and face up to the fact that for this years jolly to the Cote D'azur I need a roof box. I know they are the normally reserve of the sandal and sock, bumbag wearing Belgians at the autoroute petrol stations but we will need the extra space. Has anyone got any tips/ words of...

Re: Friggin Cyclists
Yet another cyclist here... I struggle with the defence that xxx lumens are 'needed' for potholes and the like. How on earth did we ever survive country lane winter night rides in the 80s/90s with our feeble Ever Ready lamps?? We used to 'survive' the 80's driving cars whose headlights put out abou...

Re: New Elise Sprint
The 1.6 Sprint hits 60 in 5.9 secounds, hardly going to set the world on fire as it's out hauled by a plethora of modern day hatchbacks and diesel load luggers.
Not really sure it has earnt the Sprint title.

Re: Friggin Cyclists
In my opinion icyclists should be required to have public liability insurance if they are going to cycle on the roads. I agree, why shouldn't they ? Also agree ref public liability insurance and we push all riders in our Club to take out British Cycling membership for that very purpose. I suppose o...

There is a good chance that there was an SE member cycling in that group last night according to their Strava account information. Livingston area? Steve. Which road was this as I was out last night along the Lang Whang towards Balerno and then back via Kirknewton in a group of 8 riders: https://ww...
