yeh the price is obviously meant to be be 9,750. Ill be contacting him again but I suppose his insurance policy was "new for old", would the insurance company just write this off then? im not up to speed on any of this sort of stuff, having only ever contacted my insurance company to get a quote!!!

Sounds like your resistor pack is OK so increasingly likely to be your actuator. Don't think that can be done without the clam coming off though :( . I see the wiki mentions removing the heater unit which I would think is nigh on impossible via the service panels given the fight I had just to get m...

seems this is possibly the answer: an a/c control relay of some description...but i dont have a/c, just a regular heater...that doesnt work.

As you will see from that clicky link, I replaced my resistor pack about 7 weeks ago. Scraped knuckles have almost healed :lol: As far as the flaps moving, the change is slow enough to watch. With service panels and main pipe to dash removed, the flap is visible. Set your dial to the max cold posit...
