Re: LOT: Anglesey, Oulton Park & Cadwell Triple Header | 25,27 & 28th October 2020

I have now booked a couple of hotels.
Holyhead premier inn (24th) at £36 which is pretty close to the track for the Saturday night.

Oulton hotel (26th) (Sandiway- Northwich) is only £30.

Just need to decide on the rest now. Can we go yet? :drive :cheers

Re: Thoughts on property prices

Good question. Rents are on a downward trend in Edinburgh in my experience. (Possibly overdue!) Short term lets are flooding the market and too much uncertainty over students and when term will restart. I can’t see how you could go wrong long term but the current restrictions on being able to move a...

My brother sent me this:

Seems cheap!

Told him I know nothing about these except I wouldn’t like to crash one.

Any tips? TIA

Any thoughts on hotels for this trip?

Premier Inn and Travel lodge have rooms in Holyhead for £48 for the Saturday night.

Re: Are track days all you do in your Lotus then?

For me, its not all about the tracks. The whole trip is something to look forward to be it beers, food and time away with family (Tom et al) and friends is the appeal for me. It's something in the diary that I can look forward to. (along with other holidays) With two young kids its difficult to get ...

Re: Average speed cameras Killin to Tyndrum

No doubt rear facing to catch the bikers. A blight to the country side which will result in longer queues and more frustration. I feel a minimum speed limit should apply in these locations or perhaps a maximum number of people in the queue before you have to let people past. What next solid white li...
