Tescos 99 is by far the best gives extra power and works great in my aeroplane too! Its a minimum of 99 octane infact is usually 101 octane puts it up with 100LL Avgas without the lead! Trying to find the link to a test I read about it and the power curves using everything including V-max BP ultimat...

Ok chaps need to point out which caravan is his at Errol cos thats where I fly from and I take off directly over the caravan storage area!! SO I CAN BOMB IT!!!! :twisted: :evil:

Ok folks thanks for the advice and info. I will look into the various possibilities. Still interested in your wheels Ross if you have them as my brother is needing a set for his car plus I cant afford to have mine off the road. I could use the bike I suppose.

Wheel refurbishment who does them?

Hi folks I have a front wheel which was bumped by the last owner and it is running out of true approx. 1.5 millimetres it is in very good condition apart from that. Can it be fixed and if so who does the deed?

Wanted 111s front wheel buy or borrow

Hi folks I am looking for a front wheel to use till I get mine refurbished I am happy to buy it or if some kind soul trusts me enough to lend me one. The ones on the car are OZ 5.5j x 15 6 spoke.

I am biased but I think the 111s is a nicer car to drive having driven both! It is a lot more forgiving if there is such a thing needed with the Elise! I find that it doesnt matter what gear you are in the engine will pick up cleanly and go!! I have fun with the CR gearbox, it reminds me of my bike ...

I usually take my camera when I am at work and have been known to get some really interesting photos mainly of houses and airfields but other places have been snapped!! Visits to the base are easily arranged and visits to venues can often be arranged too as long as we can get a safe place to land at...

I am about but mainly commute to Glasgow Heliport where I am a Paramedic on Helimed 5 and up to Errol where I keep my other passion, my Luton Minor aeroplane! Single seat open cockpit and almost as much fun as the Elise!
