Re: (NLC) Need a runaround

Hi All. My 11 year old 3 series bimmer had sudden bottom end engine failure (spun a bearing) and it wasn't economical to fix it. The cheapest was £5K for an engine with 89K miles on it from a scrappy plus the work for out/in and new clutch and all the small stuff just wasn't worth it. On the plus s...

< withdrawn from sale >SEAT Leon Cupra 280 ST

EDIT: Having considered further we are keeping the car a bit longer! Our beloved millenium falcon is for sale - we've had the car just over 3 years and it's never missed a beat - perfect fast family barge. Small car park damage on front, booked in to be repaired in November but will discount repair ...

Re: Crypto Currency Trading

I think Robin has put into words what I've always thought but could never articulate - since I first heard about Bitcoin a number of years ago. Thank you! How can something be worth something and used to buy stuff i.e. a currency, if you're not sure it's going to be worth the same or a little bit mo...

Re: Leccy cars

Very cool - saw one in the flesh the other day.

It is sooo like the S reg Honda Civic my Mum (and Campbell when he learned to drive I think?) drove in the mid to late eighties - in frog green!! I believe it was styled to represent that.

Have fun!

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

Not quite in the same league.....working from home has meant things have changed a bit. It's brilliant fun and pretty much free to run https://i.imgur.com/tosf37P.jpg (photo taken in it's spiritual home) I really like that, kind of tempted by one for the wife but perceived quality of the interior h...

I have been doing PE with Joe Wicks in the morning with the kids, numeracy and literacy skills on Microsoft Teams with the kids teachers and after lunch its skateboarding in the car park before we do some arts and crafts. Anyone got any other ideas? Have ...

Re: One last sports car, for your retirement..

Easy one for me - a perfectly maintained Honda S2000, which is now in the region of 15-20k for a really good one.

Fast enough for the track, enough boot space for those dreamy European trips with the Mrs, and still the best engine/gearbox combination I've ever driven.
