Re: Advice - post car sale

Based on progress and even though dealer is looking to resolve this i’m sending my notice of rejection based on not as described and having no manufacturers warranty. There may be trouble ahead.. Any advice appreciated for next stage here or via PM. Guess it’s whether they accept or contest it Shou...

Re: I'll never get it (but each to his own)

3000 miles in 20 years is quite excessive though. I did over 1000miles in my first three days of ownership and then within six months another 3000miles on the French Frolic 2015 trip which was recorded by SatNav and also the milage for the four trackdays too, on top of that. It was a brilliant two ...

There were a couple of lightly used sets of rear two piece discs on eBay last week, might be worth a look

Re: New garage door - any supplier recommendations?

I had mine replaced a few years ago. This was due to an unfortunate incident when I hooked the old one on the tow bar of a Discovery, drove forward and pulled it off the wall. The new one works ok but here are two aspects which get my goat. These might help you in selecting a product and / or fitte...

Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem (Sport350)

It could go either way. In China car dealers and car sales were well above average when they lifted the lock down so similar could happen in the UK. Some may adopt the "life is for living" approach after this and decide to buy the car they have always wanted......I live in hope that this is the case!

Re: New garage door - any supplier recommendations?

Daly Garage Doors fitted my sectional doors and electric openers about 5 years ago, been really happy with them, not had any issues. They are based in East Kilbride but says they cover the whole of Scotland so might be worth a look if you are struggling to find someone. https://www.dalygaragedoors.c...

Re: Leven car company Administration

Went into Parks Hamilton with my brother when he took his Elise in for the recall. Good service and turned around quickly. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they pick up a full dealership or at least service centre as its just down the road from me. Which Campus did you go to? was it McLaren/Ben...

Re: Best hot hatch for £10k

Seems you’ve binned the idea off now Cambell but my money would be on a Honda any day. I had 2 DC2 Integra Type R’s and they were brilliant fun cars to drive. May yet tick the DC5 box as well as also always wanted one and prices have levelled/starting to climb again. My favourite that I had though w...

3-11 at Zandvoort would be like snorting a line of powdered buckfast I imagine  This was on the money! :D :damnfunny What a hoot, didn't manage flat up the hill but it was ludicrously fast everywhere. 125mph exiting the last corner onto the main straight... That corner will be gone for...
