Re: Smallest Elise driver

My good lady is 5'1 and can reach the pedals in our 2014 Elise no problem at all. Our 2003 Elise was a different story though, and she needed a wee bean cushion thingy just to hold her a little further forward. Both cars had fixed seats, no adjustment other than forward and back. Lotus did do a boos...

Re: Brake caliper refurb

They don't advertise car brake calipers but they did an amazing job of a motorbike caliper I sent them. Came back better than new. Might be worth a call, they may be able to suggest someone if they can't/won't do it. I would certainly use them again. http://www.powerhouseautomotive.co.uk/ As for the...

Re: Alternatives to Sky

We added BT TV to our infinity package about a year ago after the BBC lost the MotoGP and BT were able to offer Eurosport for the BSB and WSB as well as Discovery for Wheeler Dealer type stuff. It was an extra £7 for the channels, £3 for HD so was pretty happy that I could watch as much bike racing ...

Our Insignia estate 160 SRi is brilliant, the VXR should be superb (and what I was going to suggest, but beaten to it :))

Re: Corvette C7 Z06 - Anyone ever owner/imported American be

We had an LS2 6 litre Monaro VXR for a year. Not quite the same as what you're looking at, but a V8 muscle car non-the-less. If you fancy one, go for it. We absolutely loved ours, sounded awesome and on a spirited drive it handled perfectly well. It's no track toy, but as a car to make you feel spec...

Re: 4 Wheel alignment near Edinburgh

I haven't been for years, but for a long time I always trusted John at Progrip, then in Bonnybridge now in Larbert. Not Edinburgh, but not far :) I'll be taking the Insignia there as soon as I get a free day to get it reset. http://www.pro-grip.org.uk/Home.html Make sure you've plenty of time, he li...

Re: F1 Radio

The teams could be totally radical and fit a fuel gauge with a warning light :blackeye Joking aside, I'm pretty sure MotoGP (a far more exciting sport ;)) allows the bike to calculate its fuel reserve against race distance remaining and adjusts the fuel map accordingly.
