Hi Everyone! Haven't been on here for a while......didn't know if I was welcome after selling my Exige!?! Been considering a 340r and was wondering if anyone knows why this car has been for sale for SO long? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lotus/340r/lotus-elise-340r-rhd/257872# Loo...

Re: Fixed Penalty Advice

I agree with you all, I was in the wrong however 3 points on a clean license is a little harsh. Inverurie at night is not like Union street on Saturday morning!

Probably will just take the hit, but I have heard a lot of people trying their luck. (In my opinion worth a go!)

Fixed Penalty Advice

Guys, On friday evening I nipped down to Inverurie to pick up some Pizzas and must of stopped on the zig zags outside the Pizza shop on WEST High Street. I got pulled as i moved off and given a fixed penalty slip thing stating that I have 3 points and a £60 fine to pay within 28 days. However, the p...

Re: Doune Hill Climb

Sounds like there was a lot of people out having a blast in 1 way or the other at the weekend, good to hear! The weather was perfect for it, long may it continue! Thats the most fun way up the hill Mark, you just have to try and forget about the barriers. I certainly don't go there to dilly dally! :...

Re: Doune Hill Climb

Had a great weekend! Perfect weather, perfect track conditions meant I got down to a 45.83, getting rather quick for an old Caterham!

The top 12 run-off was amazing to watch as always aswell, roll on September to do it all again!

Re: S2 Exige S vs 996 C4S

Thanks very much for the info guys, much appreciated! I have sold the Exige to a buyer down in London, he picks it up on Thursday. Also secured a C4S from Kenny Dunn in Edinburgh so am hoping to pick it up after my last practise run @ Doune on Saturday. I already think i'm going to miss the Lotus to...

Re: Hunter 4 wheel alignment in ABZ

Caterham went up on Tuesday....were really happy with the service that we got.

A friend had his Integra Hillclimb Car corner weighted there a few weeks back and they got it within 1kg all round!!!

S2 Exige S vs 996 C4S

Perhaps a rather biased conversation to start on here however it’s a thought going through my mind. Anyone had any experience of 996's at all? By the looks of things I will need to start using the car more for work so the Exige may have to go. (I've never been a good decision maker) One morning I wa...

Re: Stark R S1 Elise

It does sound uber expensive doesn't it? Looks really appealing though, a walk-in, drive-out service where you are then sitting in a 'brand new' car. I did speak to James and your correct Alan, he isn't doing that service anymore. (No much wonder at 26,800 a peice!) Don't get me wrong, the month to ...

Stark R S1 Elise

Anybody had any dealings with Stark?

They offer a built Elise R with all the right bits on it for 26,800.....expensive but you end up with a really nice spec'd car!

Whats people thoughts?
