Re: That is it i'm done with using Murray Lotus for good!

I can only speak for myself. The problem is in differentiating the company from the people . Graham sold me a couple of cars in unique colours for Scotland, and even though seated in throne of pain, I remember these transactions fondly. Still throbbing! Craig brought a whole huge dimension that many...

Re: Evora N/A -> ?

Thanks Lazy, and particularly Tony for his honest POV. Interesting that you went from Evora to Exige to Evora, and that although the Exige was more involving, this could become tiresome, which is one of my concerns.

Would welcome a current comment from Tony if he sees this discussion.

Evora N/A -> ?

Hello All, Not posted here for a long time, but have been lurking around. Looking for advice from anyone who has gone from Evora back/forwards to Exige V6. Positive or negative comments all welcome. Both are great cars, one has a larger grin factor in the drivers seat, and the other on the passenger...

Remote Home Monitoring

Topic for the technically aware! And me! Looking at installing a system that allows me to monitor river levels, inside and outside temp, and boiler control at 3 separate locations. There's a lot on the internet, but little feedback or experience. Is there anyone out there with up to date know how? C...

What next?

Not posted for some time but here we are. Had an unpleasant experience in the Elise a few months ago, and rather happy not to have seen any comments on this meantime. Immense and unnecessary difficulties with insurance, which I'll share once all the dust has settled. So a question for informed SE bo...

Re: Ambulances blocking the road

Now children, once upon a time, in a land far far away, a long long time ago.... "Now I would have thought that: (a) if they were attending an emergency they would leave the blue lights on (if only to make sure they didn't get blocked in by traffic!). (b) if they were attending an emergency they wou...

Might be worth your while checking out J Don in Wormit - certainly good for substantial jobs and will fit in smaller stuff. You'll find him opposite the top of Bay Rd. 01382 542379

Re: It's a long road to ...MMC

I would also agree with flip & shug. It all seems rather superficial and somewhat hollow, and I don't understamd their business plan, or at least that part of the iceberg that's above the waterline. They are showing their proposed dream new model range, that probably bears a passing resemblance to w...

Re: Police called.........

Dazzling response! :thumbsup Reminds me of when Sam Galbraith was lifted having climbed a steeple in the weege. The arresting officer asked him who he was, to which he honestly replied that he was a Neurosurgeon. They said "Aye, that'll be right", and banged him up for the night, despite / because o...

Re: It's a long road to ...MMC

^LOL At least Mr Prillman had the grace to indicate "..3 in the UK.." as opposed to 3 in England. A pointer? It also perhaps explains the shocking level of service that some have experienced at least one well kent franchise in England of late (beginning with L), as reported on SELOC. I would specula...

It's a long road to ...MMC

Exciting times and erudite comments abound! But what impact will this throwaway comment have for us all here, and for MMC? "For a premium brand, we have far too many dealers," Mr Prillmann said. In the UK, its network of 23 dealerships will be sharply reduced, perhaps to as few as three...” http://w...

Re: Jokes...................Give Us A Laugh

An older gentleman retires from work and decides to reward himself by spending his golden handshake on a new car. He'd never been able to buy a sports car before & was really excited when he went to pick it up, on a lovely sunny afternoon. It was the only one of that colour in Scotland. Whilst drivi...
