Bolting on new suspension is a two spanner job; if you decide to swap for the S2 bilsteins (maybe the most cost effective way of sourcing reasonable suspension for the car) you'll want to replace the mounting brackets too, in which case it's a bit more involved but hardly major job. Thanks a lot Mac & Alan :thumbsup Corroded spring collar makes sense, given its apparent condition - maybe it worsened over the winter since the last service. I didn't know about the fuel cut off switch - that hopefully explains the engine spluttering out - hope it's that simple! I'll go searching f...
