Re: Leccy cars

Ive just moved to Intelligent Octopus which gives us 7.5p charging from 23:30 - 05:30 but, unlike others i looked at doesn't then load the daytime tariff. Looking at EDF etc before it was never worth it for us. The best bit is you link octopus to your car's app and it then works out a charging sched...

Re: Leccy cars

We've just passed a year with ours and mrs donkey told at least 3 different people over the weekend how much she loved it. Looked into wall boxes again as we've just changed to octopus but still doesn't make sense for us financially yet. 3 pin it is.

Re: A new Lotus you say?

I often think i miss my VX but i suspect a drive in both a VX and my evora would put me right that it's actually the evora i miss the most. For me it had all the plusses of a VXelise chassis but without all the downsides, although as you know i'm not the bestest driver in the world. Good effort that...

Re: Watch lovers?

Now that's a cool idea. Bit sketchy on the details and ~£100 a year after a dear hardware outlay is less than ideal. But I think the concept has legs. I'd need it to be 'good' at swimming which is remarkably not a common feature set. Most watches to it, but often not particularly well. So far I'm l...

Re: Lotus UK Makes Agency Model Retail Switch Ahead Of Emira Deliveries

I "think" it's this.... Dealerships are facing a simple choice: adapt and evolve or take the risk of becoming less and less relevant. Dealers are not oblivious to this. According to Accenture, 85% of them agree that the sales model needs to adapt quickly in order for them to survive. Where dealers u...

Re: Watch lovers?

Please please don't stay silent

We got the news yesterday that one of my wife's childhood friends had taken her own life. 39, sharp, great company, pretty, own childminding business and mum to a gorgeous 2 year old. Always had her issues, mainly around finding love but we genuinely thought she was doing ok. Then she was found yest...
