Re: Cars, Cars, Cars. Which one????????
Tut - no chance!! on either count. You have to consider when tracking a 360cs (which is supposed to be diffcult to drive on track) which is one of i think 118 uk RHD cars in the world.. and a car i intend to keep for a very long time.. vs. lotus/honda/lhd/shed that i will have to treat my car with a...

Re: Cars, Cars, Cars. Which one????????
nice dilemma to have. Radical/Westfield XTR etc - you need to have a mechanic in tow to run on track days - will be more expensive than a gt3 Atom - i think offers no road practicality at all, weather protection etc and handlingwise flawed due to the rather high mounting of the engine so top heavy w...

Re: SIDC 27th March 9-1pm
@ david i did notice you were following me for quite a few laps. 13" wheels will help, but initially fresh rubber will make a bigger difference for you. bear in mind that the rolling circumference of the wheels whether 15" or 13" is the same, just much lower profile tyres on the 15" wheels. your car...

Re: SIDC 27th March 9-1pm
Yes - thought track etiqute was pretty good!! even the porsche gt3rs willingly moved over every time it got lapped!! thanks everyone for putting up with my driving... i had new tyres on the rear, which were a profile wider (215's) and a bit lower profile so my gearing meant that i had to use second ...

Re: SIDC 27th March 9-1pm
tut - i know theres an excellent overtaking opportunity for you when we are on the track together, on the main straight when i pull into the pits! why have you gone for the harder compound tyres? i am guessin so your not going so fast when you do go off the track on the corners. Scotty - not sure if...

Re: SIDC 27th March 9-1pm
Sorry guys, but i have just booked to be there too.. taking the r400 going to try out some Kumho v70a tyres instead of the r888's.. so will be interesting to see the comparison. Tut - better bring your nitrous kit... saw a comment about the hot hatch day, i went to the last one in the r400, and had ...

Re: Hot Marques Sunday 29th Nov
that would be my fault i suppose.. and again i would get the grief i deserve Think you are focussing your frustration at the wrong person - i didnt cause an accident, and the pass that i made was entirely safe - it is one of the most common passing spots at knockhill when racing. The fact that every...

Re: Hot Marques Sunday 29th Nov
thanks Meatball - i was taught at school that rules are there to break... i am still laughing... i will drive in a safe but probably inconsiderate manner - i guess just get out of the way if i am coming through!! Maybe i should get a large american bus with no brakes, sure you will all get out of th...

Re: Hot Marques Sunday 29th Nov
it was actually into Mcintyres (or Turn 3) and caused no problems and did not result in any black flag or such like from the marshalls..
maybe i should buy a porsche to annoy the other porsche drivers with.. now there's an idea!
Dear Santa,
please could i have a 997 GT3 RS in grey...

Re: Hot Marques Sunday 29th Nov
@jasonliddell of course! 2 laps of waiting behind someone to move over is NOT acceptable in my book. there was not any blue flags being shown, not that the forementioned porsche drivers would have noticed them anyway - they were probably too busy looking for some driving talent! (specifically a 997 ...

Re: Hot Marques Sunday 29th Nov
indeed - the one that was travelling much quicker than anything else on the track... i get fed up with people not yeilding up the straights to let less powerful cars by, then hold them up round the fun twisty bits! The woman involved was ok, but obviously slightly shocked. As scotty says, Ferrari dr...
