Re: SIDC at Knockhill 10th July
Great pics Justin. Your new car looks absolutely fantastic incidentally; you must be very pleased with it. Had I knon you were floating about the pits, I'd have come said hello. Never mind, there's always next time. I did actually say Hi at one point. I believe you know Ali (Z4M). Went to the Ring ...

Re: SIDC at Knockhill 10th July
Had a great day today. As always, meeting some of you is what it's all about and as always, it was a pleasure. I've only had the car a couple of weeks, so today's rain was an opportunity to explore the limits at a lower speed and have a little fun at the hairpin in the process  Driving standar...

Like Alan says though, £26k is a lot of cash when I'm sure you could pay a competent mechanic to do the install and buy all the bits for significantly less.
I'm currently thinking of doing the same incidentally.

Congrats,
I liked the ST a lot, so I'm sure the RS is a wee belter.
FWIW I've had a not-so-good start to the year job wise, so I know how you feel. However I'm sure you'll bounce back.
Is that the Science park in Bridge of Don by any chance?

Gareth, WTF??!
I mean that in a good way, but I'm actually speechless!
ETA: Ah, now that I've read the thread and actually looked at the pictures properly...
It's very good, but the front offset gives the game away, as does the boot line.

Re: Oil price
I have just sat on a business panel judging new start businesses for grant funding; one of them was selling bio-deisel. Very interesting. Any deisel car can run on it without modification, and it is (supposidly) kinder to the engine than ordinary deisel. At 89p per litre, this may require some cons...

Re: Road legal quads (FALC)
I nearly collided with one on Saturday as the rider of said vee-hickle decided to cut a corner that happened to be shared with my car coming the other way.
Silly billy.
And no, I don't get them either.

Re: audi problems
My work chum has had a problem with the ABS pump on his wife's A3 1.6 which is just out of warranty. Speccy cars initially wanted £1500 to replace it. I suggested he contact Audi UK to complain and as a result those unmasked robbers have come back to him with an offer of £350 to replace the affected...

I listen and I type but I only have a vague idea of what it all means!! Loving this thread. Good work Jen/Allan. A Honda Elise is on my shortlist of maybes so I'm keen to see how you both get on. Incidentally, I've seen the orange Elise about town; it looks awesome 8) Thanks!! If you want to see it...
