Re: Glasgow low emission zone

Re: Mobile Phones for kids?

I’ll ask my kids, well the 20 and 23 yr old kids and add to post with the detail Will be iOS based but there is definitely ways to reduce and limit app access which is a slightly different angle but can’t remember what it does and control you have. Impressed when off her own back, my daughter Katie ...

Re: Yet another

Lovely dogs 8) So we lost our lovely yellow lab a couple of months back. :( Real hit to everyone in the family :( Our choccie lab was pretty mopey and hiding upstairs when we went out. She’d only ever known life with “big sister” around. Thought about a puppy but the age gap would be too big - anot...

Booked up my 1st track day so advice and tips leading up to and on the day would be good from all the experts.
Been meaning to do one for ages so this one seems very appropriate #bemoretut.
Also helps Porsche overheating and lack of brakes seem sorted

Re: Gatwick Drone Chaos

This should be a military matter. The "authorities" should stop dicking about with the Police and put the experts on. Might put the fear up whoever the perps are. This is less about the "tragedy" of stranded pax (distressing as that can be for children and the infirm), and more about a show of stre...

Re: S3 suspension options

Went in my S2 from Bilstein to Nitron 40 one way. My bilstein must have been past their best but still acceptable, great change in feel and turn in even with same suspension settings for road use. Kept them only couple of clicks off soft setting most of time so ride was similar but control much bett...

Re: All roads lead to Lotus... or do they?

Definitely a good shout a 987 spyder. But as some one mentioned above (who knows, check the sig) you would just need to accept lots of depreciation if you intend to drive it at all and add miles, some/lots of Porsche stuff is really stupid that way imo Or find one that has done 50K miles if they exi...

Re: Powder coating in Aberdeen

POR15 is worth a look if you are looking for rust proofing protection qualities.
Bit fussy in applying but very DIYable, also doesn’t need blasting prep.
Only specific versions are UV stable so tends to need a normal topcoat paint though.
