Re: SIDC at Knockhill - Saturday 14th June 2025 - 9-1

I’m busy so can’t make it. Will definitely do one soon.

Might be worth hanging about if you have time.
A friend is getting passenger laps in a Gordon Murray T50 driven by Gordon Shedden in the afternoon.
Can’t even make it up to see (or hear) that either :(

Re: SIDC at Knockhill - Saturday 14th June 2025 - 9-1

Anyone else thinking of going as places are available ?

Considering it, I’ve haven’t ever did many track days but it’s on the To Do list to start doing more.

Re: Cleaner brake pads.

On a different tack have you ceramic coated the wheels ?
Gtechniq or gyeon q2 rim around £40 easy diy.

Having a car with white wheels it made cleaning loads less effort.

Re: Insurers who cover SIDC Knockhill

Thanks both. I phoned a few and went with Footman James once I confirmed SIDC is acceptable. My original comment was about Classicline, I like them as 968 has been with them years and I’ve used their full recovery a few times. But they wanted a track day in last 3 years before cover kicked in plus £...

Insurers who cover SIDC Knockhill

Who are people insured with (preferably under combined car and track cover) who cover SIDC @ Knockhill ? I’ve got 1 car renewal quote which definitely covers SIDC and just working out who else to ask for quotes. I know a lot less companies now include track day cover in the road policies. Only issue...

Re: NLC: Unusual Spots

Thought worth a post !

New one to me, surprised this is a full car rather than pay a stupid amount for body bits.

Few YouTube videos on it, carbon body, 700-1000hp,£500K+ new
Mansory Bentley Continental GT Race
But still :puke

Re: SIDC at Knockhill, - Saturday 8th June, 9am to 1pm

Are people still doing road + track day cover with REIS ? I know they used to be a favourite here. I’ve just spoke to Footman James today they do a classic car policy with track or sport car with track. Sports car policy was £300 cheaper than classic one. Classicline can also be good if criteria fit...

Re: S1 Audi Elise

I can remember that from my old one too, the over sill had rubber edge which I’ve ordered 👍🏼 It’s an awkward shape to PPF, esp the front lip. Will need to come up with something. Saw a company doing the DIY PPF kits but at £400 I’d be as well paying a professional to do it. I can remember there was...
