Spoke to mmc today and they were really helpful.The guy I spoke to I think his name was Craig told me to get it in to him asap as he said that lotus was normally quite sympathetic as the warranty has only just run out, He did say that it would not be through warranty but customer care does anyone kn...

Thanks for the replies and the welcome. Spoke to the dealer this morning and he said the car is covered by a 6 month warranty supplied by them,so I'll have to wait until tomorrow as he is posting the spare key and the warranty to me.
