Re: Interior size difference between Elise and Exige

I needed a spacer on the steering wheel in my s2 Elise but the v6 exige was fine. I thought maybe just down to the bulkier boss on the v6 due to the airbag. 6’2”

Similar with the bilstein front on the v6. Only lasted 14k miles.
Front right Don? Chicane sausage kerb smashing?
Strangely not, it was nearside and that failed.

Re: Question on shock absorber

I found the nitron street series no stiffer for road use. They didn’t have that horrible crashy fast bump nastiness either. When you hit a sharp bump and it feels and sounds like the shock has come through the floor.
Much better for road use imo.

(will get photos later) Sold the car they were for now so tyres not required. Ideal time to get them before winter hits. Currently these are £96 per tyre on Cams...

S1 auction

I used them to sell the Exige. Yes they pressure you at the last minute to lower reserve but you can just decline. That’s what I did. If it hadn’t sold then I’d have just kept it a bit longer. I used their photographer as they want a lot of photos. He was very good to be fair and not overly expensiv...
