I would have been there but will be self-isolating after Zandvoort (unless the rules change for the Netherlands meantime).

Re: Evija

BTW, the Model 3 is no slouch in the corners, but it is heavy and the brakes aren't massive - you never press the brake pedal under normal driving conditions, including stops from high speed, but if you try to follow a 1.8K series S1 down the A701, you will run out of brakes I think ;-) Some in-car...

Re: Help.

If they are NSS single way adjustable then the standard spring rates are 350 lbs/" front, 450 lbs/" rear. It will be written on the outside of the spring, you should be able to clean it up, spin it around to see. Just quote them the full number but it will be something like: NITRON 0x00-225-0450HD x...

Re: Help.

It is very straightforward as Campbell says, they will be adjustable platform though so no spring compressors needed. https://www.nitron.co.uk/buy-online/automotive/lotus/europa-s/europa-s--06-10-/lotus-europa-s--06-10--nss-street-series-suspension-kit Should change at least that axle pair of spring...

Re: New Member Anstruther

Hi Adam - Anstruther - brings back memories of the old days when we use to rent Crail airfield for some hooning about (when I say old I mean ancient!). Yes, apologies to your water table for the diesel dumped on the oval and figure 8 allowing us to practice big skids. I recall going around there in...

Re: Knockhill, Saturday 21st March 9-1

Well organised day as usual John, quite a mix of cars and some special metal (carbon) on track. Really cold temps meant I struggled to get heat into the fronts especially. Apologies I was one of the red flags near the end. 311 lost drive, my first ever red flag and tow in all the years of trackdays....

Re: Knockhill, Saturday 21st March 9-1

Seems a good compromise of practical and sensible measures whilst allowing businesses to operate and hence the possibility of trackdays in the future.

They are great, though the sound quality and level is all over the place on most of them.

They have mention the drivenation_ instagram page a few times which is worth looking at for mini car reviews.
Agree on the sound! Drivenation well worth a follow on Insta. :thumbsup

Re: Are track days all you do in your Lotus then?

I think the days when you could hoon around the Scottish back roads all day with a bunch of your mates are sadly gone. The dashcam equipped 'muggles' trundle about with the cops on speed dial should you have the impunity to overtake. Also as Andy said the cars have got so fast that 'do not pass go' ...

Yep, fan of those. PetrolTed one made me lol.

Also worth a listen is Carfection: FtLoC (Henry Catchpole)
It's also on YouTube (videos car reviews are great) but prefer the podcast format for the chats.

Haven't listened to Drivetribe yet but it's on my playlist...

Re: SE BMW M2 Club

If you had to pick another m2 would it be manual or Dct? :drive Is std or comp not more pertinent? (Probably showing my lack of knowledge as I would imagine the comp has only one choice). S Comp also has manual or DCT option Sanj. To answer Ed I went DCT but it was a pretty close call, ease of DCT ...
