Re: Connector doo dahs for K Series coversion

Should be able to get one off any standard EU3 rover engined car.

Have a google or look on eBay as I'm sure I came across places selling them as flying looms...

Swap with Jenson Button, he's got a 1600 Honda and would probably give cash your way

Re: Ingliston Revival/Trackday 11-13th Septermber

The contra running into the hairpin is a massive issue before the track becomes viable, plus a range of street furniture.

I don't think I'd be that keen on running in a competitive sprint either without an awful lot of tyres in place

Re: Throttle Cable replacement on an S1

Shug & I did his yonks ago when I had access to the pit. Don't recall it being that hard. Access at the pedal end is tight so the skinny lanky one did that end and I did the greasy end.

Taking out the driver's seat simplifies it.

Re: What have I missed? :)

Not seen the TR7 in ages - it's still buried in my folks garage. New house has a bigger garage but it's not big enough (yet)

Seen some stuff about Tut being a naughty boy :)

What have I missed? :)

Been away from here for far too long - combination of a lot of stuff that's not worth mentioning.

Still got the Elise & still hillclimbing....

Have I missed much of importance?

Re: F1 tyre choice - BBC column by Gary Anderson

Two tyre choices - one made of Tupperware that will see a full race distance and the drive home too. Durable so not that stick or quick, the other made from fresh chewing gum that will stick to the track like the proverbial to an army blanket. It's what they used to do in the old day IIRC, don't for...

Re: Need a bolt

There's a nut & bolt place in Blantyre (just down from the defunct car wash) - would offer to pick one up but I'm in Crewe.

Normally a minimum order so good time to stock up as you can split the items to make up the cover.
