You can spray it but it won't be a particularly durable finish. Unless you are a dab hand with the sewing machine I'd get a coach trimmer to cover it a material of your choice - it shouldn't cost very much. Sadly my abuse is limited to never cleaning or servicing it and bouncing it down a farm track daily so it's not very interesting.

It never goes anywhere near a track because I am designed to fit the larger lady.

Note the date of the original spot. At that point my car still had clams, doors, suspension and that sort of thing.

I've had the thing for nearly five years and the only time I've ever been spotted is when it is parked outside my house and then posted on an Elise site.
