Methinks this will be decided by the (not so) simple expedient of who has the most powerful friends in Malaysia - Lotus Group (Petronas) vs T Fernandes (Air Asia + pretty decent set of contacts).
Pretty unexciting in my book.

Re: Watch lovers?
I like this Citizen one - cheap enough not to worry about it too much and no more batteries
They do a metal strap version as well.

Can we stop talking about costs here - I've been trying to avoid adding this up for years now
Worth every penny though

Re: Rubber marks
Sounds like you've done enough - let the pros do the work from here
edit to add - says the man who stopped off at the local car wash specialists on the way home from Frolic.

Loeb is great, but I wouldnt sit in a forest for hours to watch him. IMO this is the stuff of legends... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R7ws741KpE&feature=related The bit where he goes through the gate just after sliding over a cattle grid whilst basically at top speed is really, really cool :D It...

Funny enough, an interview with the team Sky boss ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/ju ... our-france ) makes a similar point about doing things the right way in sport.

Re: F1
I like Joe Saward's take on this http://joesaward.wordpress.com/ . Main point being that if F1 is a business then it is about making your customers (aka fans) feel better about the brand, not sure that Ferrari did that at the weekend. A case of understanding that just winning isn't enough. Then agai...

Re: Elise Trophy Brands Hatch GP
Lap 6 my tyres are gone. I drift the entire way round paddock, and end up in the gravel, but recover it well, and get straight back out. However, that bit of idiocy has just cost me 2 places. Apparently there was some applause in the box when i saved it! The move was appreciated at the top of Paddo...

Hi Rob, So you made it out of the Pyrenees alive :-) Thanks for the welcome all :cheers Yep made it out alive - thanks to Dave for going at something more my speed rather than Neil and your pace :D Had to pull a load of road gravel out of the car as it got filled with the stuff after following you ...

I don't have an Elise and I'm not Scottish
Met a good number of you on Frolic before. Its been suggested by a few of you (OK mainly the existing Kentish members - Ed / Tom that's you) that this is the place for me as I don't have an Elise and I'm not from Scotland. Looking forward to seeing if Andy had the cam running when he kindly showed m...
