They are claiming it'll be the longest indoor track in Scotland. Just hope they've left some space for overtaking!

Re: New Indoor Karting

Funnily enough I was looking at this yesterday.
Should've been open 2 months ago, not sure what the delay is but now meant to be end of the month or start of next.

Btw Mr Hay, I was at a bird of prey experience thing with my dad today, you'd have loved it ;)

Re: Dodgy Lotus dealer

AFAIK they are not an official Lotus dealer They are plenty of stories on seloc about them screwing people and selling cat D cars without saying that's what they are. Do a search on seloc and you'll find all the info you need.

Re: What Porsche for sub 30k?

My bro has been looking at Boxsters but was put off by servicing/running costs. How would the running costs of a Boxster/Cayman compare to the Elise/Exige? From his tentative research oil change services were around £600, main service £1100? Service prices are all fixed and on the Porsche d...

Re: What Porsche for sub 30k?

Depends how practical you want it to be. If you need the rear seats then it has to be a 911 in some form but if not the Cayman is actually a more practical car for 2 people. There's far more storage space in it and what there is is also much easier to get to than on a 911. I thought my Cayman was a ...

Re: Another new car

1994 - I can never remember if that = varioram or not. I think earlier = varioram but I'll await to hear. Nice cup alloys too. What sort of mileage is on it? I'm a big 993 fan - they're depreciation-proof motoring at the moment. I'll also be interested to hear what child seat you squeeze into the b...

Re: Another new car

Not an S Campbell, they go for silly money compared to standard cars and the only major difference is the wider rear end. Even the narrow bodied 993s look quite wide though. Hoping it'll be depreciation free or very close though I don't expect it'll be low-cost to maintain, that partly depends how l...

Another new car

Sold my Exige just over a week ago. For a change it's staying in the UK instead of being shipped off to Europe! Wasn't really using it much other than the odd commute so decided to go back to a Porsche but a 911 this time because of the rear seats. I was initially thinking about getting a 997 but it...

Lotus Stage 3 Exhaust - SOLD

My Exige S is now gone and I still have the stage 3 that came off it in my garage. The exhaust was fitted in May 2010 for the previous owner of the car by MMC and removed in October 2011 by me having been on the car for around 4k miles. This should fit any Toyota engined Elise/Exige. PM if intereste...

If you go with Admiral just hope you don't ever need to claim. From experience they are a complete shower of sh*t and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Re: Hermes (Belgian bloke)

Bumping this to say that despite the majority saying he's a good guy I have to agree with Lewis (X7LDA).
From my experience the guy is just a timewaster and I'm glad I didn't get any further than phone calls or texts.
So my advice to anyone contacted him in future would be to avoid like the plague!

Bullet Camera

I have an old Dogcam bullet camera that I don't need. I bought it about 5 years ago and it hasn't been used much and now replaced by a GoPro. I've no idea on the spec of the camera. The camera can be used with a camcorder or any other recording device with a 3.5mm AV input. It comes with: Battery pa...
