Re: Elise bike rack challenge

I've used a Seasucker to put a CX bike on the Exige. Looked AMAZING. But tie the cranks down to stop it scratching the roof. The easiest way is to drive the Elise to mine,I'll lend you the van and you can swap then back when you finished! (Woody claims to have got a bike in the pax seat, and he ride...

Re: Tesla Model 3

We've had our Model 3 (LR) for about 6 months, it replaced an i3 which we had for a about three years. The customer service takes your breath away, although in fairness they have employed loads of children, which is nice I suppose. They don't seem to do PDIs so it's not unusual for cars to be a bit ...

Re: Covid-19 Lockdown

Millie and I have had fun building stuff in teh past. I think the best was a trebuchet, i wanted to make a desktop one, but I'm rubbish with carpentry so I made one about 4 foot high to throw apples. We had great fun and might have accidentally done some maths along the way. (This was when Millie wa...

Re: Best hot hatch for £10k

Maybe this could have been a contender https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/--163-10k-208-gti-by-peugeot-sport---spotted/41411 Keep on forgetting that the less well know hot hatches will lose a fair bit of depreciation, but at 30k miles and 10k seems a good buy. Added bonus that it won'...

Like a 4 year old girl with the latest my little pony on the way from prime!

Looks tremendous. When it arrives and you’re looking for excuses to drive it you can just do a tour of SE members homes to show it off!
A superb idea, the "Tea and biscuits" tour of Scotland.

Re: Tyre fitting

Abbotsnch have supplied and fitted loads of tyres for me. They are good folk to deal with, the fitters are normally OK but the Exige needed a very narrow socket which they had to borrow. They also scratched one of the Exige wheels but they were ace about it and arranged to get it re-done (everyone c...

Re: £100k garage

Having read the "grand day out" thread,

New plan needs a better Elise.

Campbell's Elise, say 20k.

T6 30k

Model 3 50k.
