Just back from Murrays and the mechanic guy managed to line up the drivers window so its shut, just cant open it till I get the parts (Next Friday :( ) Means I can leave it parked at least. They are only 1.3gold coins each though. Not bad as it was one of my bargaining points so got a good bit more ...

I had`nt been desperate for a hardtop, but I like the look of it more than the canvas, only problem is the obvious - out somewhere and cant take it off. Plus, I saw it as a way of getting 600quid-ish off the car if I decide to sell the top seperately. Think I`ll keep it just now though. Accelerator ...

servicing

Before I bought my car, I asked the same question -

quite a few folk suggested Kenny Brown in Hillington.

He used to prep a Group N Impreza for a friend of my Dad, and Elan owners said he was good.

I obviously have not tried him as I only just got the car but I will be when the time comes.

My new car *pic*

Picked up the car today, and am happy to say the least. Needs a good run as the guy I bought it off hadnt used it in 2months, so it feels a bit stiff. I know everyone has seen a silver S1 elise before, but I will stick up a pic anyway. Compared to some cars I looked at, this one is so tight and in g...

OK im with you,

nah the 3k quotes were the ridiculous ones

The 646 is only a couple of hundred more than what I was paying on the smart (which is a whole 14 Insurance Groups lower than the Elise!).

I`ll be using it most days - but it will be stored under cover. I`d rather get it done ASAP though as stuff like that annoys the hell out of me. I was down at Murrays in Glasgow earlier and spoke to the mechanic and he gave me a few pointers, so I`ll give it a whack once I have the parts. If anyone ...

...nothing but a number.

Turned 22 a few weeks ago. Insurance quotes have gone from OK to ridiculous (like over 3k ridiculous).

Dont want the car to eat up all the dollarinos, tracking looks expensive on parts.

But it does look fun...

Runs, yes, track probably not at the moment.

Tracking will probably stretch the budget too far; its an expensive game at my age buying cars insurers dont like!

Why would anyone not want to use a phpBB? It is so much easier. They yahoo thing is guff!

I live in Kilmacolm, work in Glasgow and have a girlfriend at Uni in Edinburgh, so I get around (to say the least!).

Give it time, I am sure it will get busier round here.

Has anyone fixed the window glass fault...

...and want to help me do mine? If I cant get it fixed under the warranty that is (non-lotus warranty).

I will pay with admiration and love.
