Re: Ski resort recommendations
I've been skiing around Geneva for the last five years and my favourite resort was Meribel, it's slap bank in the middle of the 3 Valleys so it's fairly easy to get to either Courchevel and back or Val Thorens and back in a day. Over 600km of Piste so you won't get bored and there are a number of go...

Honda CR-V EX 2.2i-DTEC – 2007 – 57 Plate, Dynamic Pack
My girlfriend and I are currently commuting together so really only need one car, therefore, we're selling her Honda CR-V, I don't know if there'll be any interest here but I thought there'd be no harm in posting an ad: 44,000 miles FSH (Next Service in 10 months or 8,500) MOT & Tax until End ...

Holiday Cottage Recommendations Around Thurso?
Hi, This is a long shot but I'm looking for a holiday cottage around Thurso over Christmas and was wondering if anyone could recommend anywhere? There will be two or three couples and a dog so we don't need anything huge but would prefer sea views with an open fire if possible. If you can recommend ...

Re: Sold the Caterham today.
Good work!
I bought a BMW X5 a few months back; I agreed a price then the guy selling it was offered a few thousand pounds more before I collected it, he was a top bloke though and kept to the agreed sale.

Re: Should we cry over Comet?
Bottom line is, the customer service was terrible and when compared against online retailers they were over-priced; it's absolutely no surprise they have gone under, all other retailers on the high street that offer such service will go the same way. Look for tired looking stores in need of much nee...

Re: BMW servicing
I recently did a bit of research into a good BMW Independent and found M3 in Bathgate, I've since got them to do a pre-purchase inspection then a service on my X5 and I've been impressed with them, certainly seem to know what they#re doing and seem to have all the diagnostic equipment. Contact detai...

Re: Hamilton move.
I think Lewis is good entertainment, it must be remembered he is young and he's not doing anything wrong by wanting to be paid well in a tax efficient manner. I saw him interviewed and he was asked about the best thing about being an F1 driver and he jokingly said "the chicks". I'm sure that's partl...

Re: Large car recommendations
I recently bought a BMW X5 with the 3litre twin turbo deisel engine, I'm absolutely loving it and it goes like stink if you flatten the loud pedal.
My girlfriend was a bit sceptical about it but after a week proclaimed that we should always have an X5 on the drive.

Re: TRD Airbox & Sports Exhaust on 1.6 Elise - Any Experienc
I'm not sure what the spec is of the exhaust, I was in MMC last week and heard their demo car and was told it was the "Sports Exhaust", this is also how it's described on the ad on the MMC website. I understand there are a few different exhausts available but this did sound good and if it was suppli...

TRD Airbox & Sports Exhaust on 1.6 Elise - Any Experiences?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experiences of the TRD Airbox and sports exhaust on the 1.6 Elise? It sounds good to me but only heard it when the car was stationary, does anyone know how bearable/unbearable it is at motorway speeds and does it improve performance in any way ? If you have one,...

Re: Olympics farce already.
I read an article where Nicola Sturgeon was encouraging people to go along to Hampden and enjoy the unique Olympic atmosphere, to be fair, it certainly looked unique....... Hampden's probably never had an atmosphere like it.

Re: Porsche servicing - Edinburgh (NLC)
When I had a Boxster S I used George Morrison Motors in Glasgow, it's a bit of a trek but he definitely knew more and had more interest in my car than Porsche Edinburgh.
Would definitely recommend George but he's not exactly handy.
I also used the place in Shotts and was impressed with those guys too.

*PRICE REDUCED* Lotus Elise Touring 2011/11 - High Spec
As I mentioned last week, I am finding that due to a change in Job and a new found addiction for golf, my Elise is becoming too impractical, here's a link to the Pistonheads Ad and below Ive copied the content and one of the pics: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3859334.htm If anyone has any commen...
