Think I went past just before the chequered flag went out but there were red flags and lights by the time I got to the chicane. Had a hugely enjoyable day. Quick blast down the A68, Dan at Jude Performance did the business, back home for tea and the new brakes are bedded in as well. Thats at least three ...

VVC Timing Belt
Planned a precautionary belt change before Saturday but am struggling to source them in Edinburgh.
Can anyone suggest a local supplier (MMC on backorder !) or provide part numbers?
Thanks

I had a couple of pax outings first, one with Sasha (KH instructor?) at a Scooby dealer day, one with Pete in a Xsara (Thanks Pete!). Both good fun and useful for learning lines etc. Then did the single seater day like Gorrie. Started raining just before the single seater laps which made it even mor...

Ah, that was me. Xmas shopping in the Stockbridge charity shops to protect the repair/upgrade funds. Haven't had much time to work on the car , or even visit here, so she is still wearing her gaffa tape stripes. They obviously blend in well. Managed 900 miles so far and nothing's dropped off (apart ...

Thanks for the warm welcome I haven't picked her up yet, so unlikely to make the SIDC morning. Probably just as well, I feel I should check the car over and get some road miles in first. John Reid posted Welcome to the "young lots" forum. Ah, that's me disqualified already! Cheers, George (obviously...

Actually it's me (Gareth changed his mind!). Have been a serial lurker here and on old SE for some time and am now first time owner (and poster). Commiserations to the other interested parties and apologies to Steve for the test drive  The price is clearly a good result for Steve but the tota...
