I quite fancy a 111s style diffuser, with the extra 'wings' one complaint I'd have about the elise is its stability at high speed - thought it might help slightly? Also re: cf, it would be a fair bit lighter, aesthetically pleasing and I don't really intend to get so airborne that I'll be crashing d...

I've been semi-tempted to ordering the carbon fibre material and resins and having a go at making a rear diffuser myself! Most likely I'd cock it up but its one of the easier shapes to make.

Hey pizzaboy! Glad you registered and welcome! Was good to actually chat to another Elise owner, first one I've come across. All those carbon fibre bits on the Hondas has got me thinking about what parts of the Elise would be better in CF! You should get your Exige owning mate to register here too.

Burn them down! I hate companies like that - you'd win hands down too even if u did take them to a small claims court, I believe if you win you can also reclaim the fees from them.

I don't want to cause alarm but that looks like the standard 1.8 to me. The 111s has a different shaped plenum chamber ( a big beefier and usually has VVC written across it ). Best bet is to phone Lotus with the chassis number which you can find on the inside sill (drivers side) printed on a laminat...

Burberry viper stripes... Nice  That's the best thing I've read all week! :D but on mods: I think visual modding is very very hard to get right without looking tacky and I also strongly believe the car has to fit in with its surroundings. You could get away with the blue neons in the engine ba...

I heard this was a common problem with the old S2's as the glue melts under the temperature of your hands. Mine's been restuck on with superglue the old owner told me. Unforunately I dont know where to get replacements. If I remember correctly there was a lot of stuff about it over of on pistonheads...

Hello people

Joined a wee while ago but didn;t notice this section. Got a calypso red S2 only one in that colour I've seen in Edinburgh - unless anyone else has one?

So, hello everyone!
