Re: SIDC at Knockhill, Saturday 12th March 1pm to 5pm

I've given up trying for the night, trying to reset password but no joy receiving email.

I'll just have a beer and try again tomorrow

Has the back box moved through the rubbers or is it just the tailpipes that move?
Hi Robin, enjoy Spa today 😀😀

I changed the hanger rubbers at the same time as the engine mounts and exhaust stayed in position during the Oulton/ Donington days 👍

Re: Your Top 10 Cars - ever

I've just trawled thought the list of 57 cars I've had in the last fifty years. What a pile of sh*t, I can't find enough good ones to meet the Reg's of 10 from different Marque's. Most memorable was the BMW M635, and the best fun was a Nissan Patrol (4.0l Petrol) which got thrashed over the sand dun...

Re: LOT: Anglesey, Oulton Park, Donnington & Cadwell Quadruple Header |24th,26th 27th & 28th October 2021

Having not been to donington or cadwell before - has anyone come up against noise limit issues ? My wee S1 is kinda noisy, so if that’s going to be a problem I’ll sort that out before I go! Noise limits very strictly enforced at Donington, after 1st black flag you have to show them what you have do...

You worry to much, check your drive shaft nuts (Torque = 220Nm and make sure the indents are knocked in with a punch) and then drive it till it breaks.
Drive shaft nuts fully tight, just hoping it keeps going and doesn’t sh*t itself on the first day of the winter frolic.🤣🤣

Re: Leccy cars

I’ve got the 120ah battery, pretty impressed so far [emoji106] How many miles you done now. Any feedback? Really enjoying it for what I use it for, mostly around town and my trips to golf 3 times a week ( 3 x 40 miles). My wife loves it and its now the go to car for both of us. Its great off the li...

Re: S1 Gearbox backlash

I have similar, but thing it's my drive shafts, so I am going to replace them over the winter. Interested to see what you find. I was half hoping it was my drive shaft, but no play in the UJ’s.if I grip the solid part of the inboard joint, even turning very gently you can feel the backlash in the g...

S1 Gearbox backlash

I've noticed a bit of backlash on the driver side drive shaft at the gearbox. Its not at either of the UJ's, no movement there. There is no backlash at the Passenger side of the gearbox. I have noticed a slight clunk during vigorous gearchanges. I'm looking at a used C4BP Gear as I will definitely n...
