ah you see minial research. Is it a lot? Same price as KH (per hour) roughly... May have to re-think although looking through another post looks like they do discount for LoT members, if there is any interest I could check (but I'm sh*t at organising stuff). You see LoT is 30 quid just to join the f...

Getting excited already. My car is standard except for a Lotus sports exhaust and the website says 105 (or was it 106). So we should be fine. 229 for 8 hours is damn near the same price as KH @ 55 quid for 2 hours (justifying it to my self!!). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oulton_Park Makes it sound ...

Actually the dates might be OK on mature reflection... Suzy should get her roster in the next couple of days and I need to wait for that to confirm but would you be interested? http://bookatrack.com/-pB?664 It is a lot but it is for a whole day or until our cars break... And it seems to always cost ...

[/quote] Why? Surely she is going to have a great time and that's good for everyone - after all, you like to get away in the car and enjoy yourself and it's just the same ... just think of the brownie points and smile :-) Let us know if you get an Oulton Park date organised - without doubt my favour...

To be honest it is so long since I did a track event that I had forgotten how much fun they were. I now have an urge to try somewhere else other than Kames (which although close and a laugh is - well let's just say it is what it is) and KH. Where else can I try? Anyone know what E Fortune is like o...

Was KH becoming Doune.
Having been to hill climbs at doune a few years back not sure I would fancy taking the car up there - the walls and the trees seem VERY close  ! At least at KH if you get it wrong you have some run off areas! Would come along and watch though :D I've seen photos now and it does look a bit ti...

Yeah I think I read the hillclimbs idea. Great idea in theory but this is where the reality kicks in, and I remember that the only way I can get the time to do this sort of thing is if I stop work but then I will have to live in my car. And if I am going to do that it would need to be bigger. And ch...

KH tonight
Crosspost from SE1 Had my best evening ever at KH tonight, dry track, excellent driving manners etc. My first time on the "new" track and I was sh*t but Simon (I think) was good enough to take me out for a couple of laps which speeded me up no end (and entertained me a fair bit too). Thanks to Simon...

My old neighbour was offered about thripence ha'penny (OK actually about 300 quid) for a Legacy turbo that was nicked and followed the accepted advice:- (OK Mr Insurance company show me where I can buy a replacement for that money. Here are some adverts of ones just like mine for sale and they are a...
