How do all. I'm doing a run around the north coast 500ish at the beginning of June. I've got 4 full days to get from newcastle, up there, round and back again. The plan so far is to get to the Isle of skye on the first day and do a bit of a tour of the island and stay the night. Day 2 get somewhere ...

Galvanising doesn't leave a completely smooth finish, I imagine you'd have trouble sealing the tyre against the rims if you did that.

if it were constantly doing it Id say the inlet manifold gasket is leaking air in, the fact it goes away when you restart the car would point me to the throttle body at fault.

I can only echo Andy's post above, a brilliant couple of days both on the track and the evenings socials. Wet and wild at Zandvoort, it certainly didn't stop us from getting out and having incredible fun though, even the guy in the tvr tuscan was out giving it some beans, he was brave! I can now say...

I have twin rooms booked at both the NH and De Pits, quite happy to share and split the cost if that helps.

One of those cases where an onboard camera would certainly help your argument without all the bullsht back and forth. I'd be going along one evening with a can of that special yellow spray marking paint. Ring the pot hole, put a great big arrow pointing towards it and the word "POTHOLE" in 2ft lette...

What a bummer, literally! Did you see it happening or was it just a shafting from behind? Good to hear you got out of it reasonably unscathed, your shoulder and hip ache will probably be down to the harnesses not being done up tight enough and you've been able to move in the seat somewhat, harnesses...

I've been using the std wheel bolts on my track evora no problem. They are the same bolt as used on BMW's.
