Re: Insurance claim – non fault accident

Just be wary of the credit hire, know what you're signing. Read the forms. It may require you to say you'll pay the cost if there's a dispute. Just ask yourself, would I be prepared to pay e.g. £22k if it all went Pete Tong? If you just need a car to pootle to the shops I'd recommend you take the cr...

Re: New Top Gear

The interview section that Evans chairs mid show is bloody terrible. slighty OT but ... when is the new clarkson hammond may show being aired? Agreed. I've quite enjoyed the new series but I thought last night's was the weakest. Thought Harris was very good. Matt is entertaining but he can't do the...

Re: Brexit.

I met a hugely intelligent, learned man today that voted leave. He (and others) had/have their reasons.

I hope they're right.

Re: Insurance claim – non fault accident

What you have to remember is that insurance companies are first and foremost there to make money. Whether that's your insurer or the TP's. Hope you get it sorted. If it were me I'd be checking the T&Cs to see if there's any barrier to me sorting it out then claiming an indemnity. I'd then tell both ...

Doc you must have been close to my pal Rich (only guy in baggy shorts) he finished in a 3:32. I am more in making around alive territory.
Ahem. I also had baggy shorts on! Absolutely no way I was cycling in Lycra only

I'm guessing a 'moving' time is using Strava's auto pause rather than being the official time with the puncture stop

Re: Cycling - NLC

Cheers guys :thumbsup It was tough going in parts but the climb at Schehallion wasn't as bad as I expected .. It wasn't easy but I had expected worse. One stop and then a mechanical issue (sorry Dave!) where I lost my big chainring at 55 miles meant I just beat 5 hours. I was felling quite chuffed w...

Re: Scottish Parliamentary Elections Sweepstake

I'm told that the no vote and the conservatives align nicely, and people are disillusioned with Labour given their failure to really do anything of late. Lib Dems shot themselves in the foot during the coalition thus the Tories are not looking so bad...

Re: Cycling - NLC

When I started on a road bike I had no gear so wore my Gore golf jacket - 100% breathable and waterproof (but £300  ) so I bought a 'bike' one. No water gets in .. but no sweat gets out; it's like cycling in a bin bag. Think I'll wear the golf jacket on the etape just to annoy the hardcore ro...
