Re: Big thanks to Murrays in Edin again

Just had my first experience with Murrays today after picking the VX up from an annual service. Car was immaculate when I came to collect it and they had even painted my discs, a nice touch. :D They also sorted a few things for me at no extra cost and have pointed out a few areas that need seeing to...

Re: Guitar maker sponsors a Lotus

We don't stock Taylor at the moment. They are good guitars but a bit pricey for what you get. Our favourite USA acoustics are Guild, properly hand made in Connecticut and very special. Well worth having a look at Baden guitars. The guy TJ Baden came from Taylor to set up his own brand and they are t...

Re: Guitar maker sponsors a Lotus

I have a Std Gibson Les Paul (among others) but always fancied the 59 re issue, hopefully be a decent Les Paul as the run of the mill of ones are a bit hit or miss (more miss than hit imo). Cheers So I hear, the quality was all over the place the last couple of years we stocked them. Didn't stop me...

Re: Guitar maker sponsors a Lotus

Could you source a "good" replica of Rory Gallagher's battered '61 Strat? (... not immediate, I need to get back to work first ... :() I assume the original is in the museum in Ireland. Cheers, Eric :) Eric, that should be no problem at all. Anything with Fender on the headstock and I can sort you ...

Alan Sadly not at the moment Alan, used to sell loads of them but Gibson don't want to sell us any guitars just now. Bizarre since we used to be in the ...

Guitar maker sponsors a Lotus

Just discovered today that one of the guitar brands we deal with have sponsored a Lotus in the American Le Mans Series. Maybe if we sell enough Schecter guitars they'll reward me with an Evora! http://schecterguitars.com/News/20120413/214/Schecter-Guitars-joins-Lotus-AJR-for-American-LeMans.aspx htt...

Re: Water leaking into our flat - advice needed (FALC)`

I don't think I had to pay any. The buildings insurance was through the factors and because the leak had fcuk all to do with me it just got sorted. Same thing happened in my new place. Guy above me sprung a leak from his washing machine, I got the place fixed and painted at no cost to me.

Re: Water leaking into our flat - advice needed (FALC)`

I had numerous water leak issues on Queen Elizabeth Gardens and the Gorbals Housing Association sorted it all out no problem at all. The amount of claims made in our building was frightening. The joys of living in a block of flats eh?

I'm monitoring the prices daily at the moment, I've become obsessed! I think next year will be the year I upgrade the VX to a nice used Evora.

Re: Dynamo Magician Impossible Lotus!

Just flicked on to this channel last night to see the Dynamo guy driving round the Hethel track in a white Evora S. He said it was nice to drive and his passenger said it was very smooth even though she was blind folded! A good ad for the Evora.
