Re: The evora replacement

There is definately something special about the feel of a lotus chassis, but since I moved jobs we've dropped to two cars and the evora just wasn't moving enough. The m2 gives a dose of extra practicality that means we are already using it more. Doesn't have the highs of the evora but hopefully won'...

The evora replacement

Criteria was... Fast, bit unusual, fun, manual, can fit a pushbike in / on it and wouldn't depreciate too much longer term. Budget was 30k ish..... And the answer is... . . . https://i.imgur.com/0v6aasy.jpg 66 plate m2 manual with 23k on the clock. Had it a couple of weeks and first impressions are;...

Re: Glasgow low emission zone

Just in case you don't already know the low emission zone kicked in for buses on 31st Dec and will kick in for cars 31st Dec '22. Lots of details to be fleshed out but long story short is if you not a euro 6 diesels (sept 15) or euro 5 petrol (Jan 06) then you'll be charged for entering city centre...

Re: Interested in an Evora

So after 4.5 years and 25k i waved goodbye to "my" evora on Monday. Gutted to be selling it but a recent job move has meant one less car in the fleet as i cycle to work and the evora and my weekend cycling habit aren't fantastic bedfellows. Can honestly say it's the best car i've ever owned and i wo...

Another year, another top job from Craig on the evora. Thanks and thanks for looking after the vx and evora for me over the years.

Sadly i'll now be into the clutches of main dealers from now on :(

Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem (Sport350)

Does the engine need to come out to change clutch or is that just an evora thang?

Re: Tut the Legend

Think I first met him at KH very early in my vx owning spree. He took me out (clearly I'd just met him!) and was amazed by the grip and braking of his car. So I asked him what he was running. Iirc he said he's found the rears in the shed and he had a pagid on one corner and a mintex on the other. I ...

Re: Big Brother is listening to you (NLC)

Use shazam, alexa, siri or Google and see how good the recognition is. Its still pretty sh*t. Then imagine it in a room "passively" and the accuracy goes down still further. Ever tried to use siri or Google over a car kit? Awful. If you are genuinely worried about privacy then there are easier steps...

Re: Car Entertainment

That 10BT might not work in an S2/V6 because of the overhang above the head unit. Apparently if you have a flip front the unit can need to sit out a little so the screen can clear it. Flip fronts also hit the indicator stall apparently. I'd very much like to find a solution that works. 👍 My vx came...
