They will refund them a small amount. Details are in most policies cancellation sections.

Re: Just bought an MGF just for it's engine but......
Tut, no doubt Greg has the technical details, but in my simplistic view it is because the policy was obtained without giving complete details. You cannot claim to be the main driver of a vehicle that you rarely drive if somebody else does drive it regularly. Cheers, Robin Cheers, Robin Tut is sayin...

Re: S2/Exige softtop
I think would look odd on a car that is already red. I wouldn't mind having a spare incase some scum decided to put a knife through mine

Re: NE Newbie
At least you have the correct badge. The exhaust sounds fantastic but one must really go easy if you want to avoid causing a scene / upsetting people in town...istoo wrote:i emailed about that car too but he had a provisional sale, you.

Re: New VX220 owner in Aberdeenshire
Just seen this. Glad you're getting on ok with the car Stewart. As for the ABS, (blame those dodgy tyres I bought from Lewis ;)) it will trigger sometimes when going over a rough surface. As I said, I only really got it all working to pass the MoT and for selling it.. If you look under the bonnet, ...
Re: NE Newbie
:welcome Cheers Btw - your car is sounding rather good indeed, goes even better... :D I also figured that the VX's have an inherent overactive ABS trigger and most people disconnect it or fit an uprated '4 way' system. Rather scary indeed. Also forgot to check my tyre pressures in excitement of get...

Re: Help to find a job in Engineering
Slightly at a tangent, but Wendy's firm of patent attorneys in Aberdeen are looking for a mechanical engineering or physics graduate to enter their training scheme working towards qualification as a British and European patent attorney. Long, hard slog but well rewarded. I can absolutely second tha...

Everyone has done it. I just put a bullet connector on it and disconnected it when driving spirited. Almost everyone :D http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/topic/102435-some-braking-issues/ Found it here on last post Many thanks, will sort ASAP, very annoying Edit Not just me moaning about it http://www...

Re: New VX220 owner in Aberdeenshire
Does it come on and shudder under your foot? Does the car have 16/17 inch wheel setup? If so.... TADTS. Cut the yellow wire under the bonnet and put in a switch to enable you to switch it off. Otherwise, get one of the 4 channel jobs and that sorts it as well, but they are quite pricey. Thanks a lo...

Re: New VX220 owner in Aberdeenshire
That'll be me then.. Drove your car today Ross, new owner asked me to check it out as he was not sure what the brakes were doing regarding the ABS. Have not driven an Elise/VX with ABS, but was down at the bottom of the Lecht so took it through the speed range up to 100 tuts and it felt fine, thoug...
