Re: New car with a Honda engine... err, it's a Honda
Almost a year in, how are things going with the Civic Type R? - I've read a few articles recently and also watched some YouTube videos on the car and it seems to be given rave reviews everywhere, just wondered what your verdict is after having it a while? As an aside, I enjoyed JayEmm's review so th...

256GB iPhone 7 Plus (Unlocked), Black & Unused
My other half has an unused, refurbished iPhone 7 Plus – 256GB for sale which is Black. It was provided as a replacement phone after her original was damaged, but she subsequently upgraded to an iPhone X, so this is no longer required. As I have not used it, it is in pristine condition, still with i...

Mercedes E350cdi Coupe Sport, 2010 / 10 Plate
[img]This car belongs to my other half and has been very lightly used over the last couple of years because of her maternity leave I have an X5 that we use for family duties so get very little use out of the E350, especially now she’s back working in the city centre and I work from home 4 days per w...

Re: Sat Nav chat
I’d also Recommend Waze and Google Maps, Waze also gives speed camera warnings.
I’d also recommend getting a mega mount https://megamount.co.uk
When I have a rental car I tend to use the above rather than built in satnavs as they are so much better than a cluncky interface I’m not familiar with.

Re: Edinburghers help - a pub ?
If you’re in Stockbridge, I would confidently recommend the Scran and Scallie, I live close by and definitely my favourite place for food in the city and also great for a quiet drink; great atmosphere and super selection of drinks. If you like different beers there are a few options of buying differ...

What Car to Get #4
Guys, I’m looking for some words of wisdom on what car to get next. I have a BMW X5 which has been taken over by my other half when we had a baby a year and a half ago, this is also used for outings with the dog. Since the arrival of our daughter I’ve used her Mercedes 350CDi coupe which has been gr...

Re: NLC - Extension Planning
Thanks, I've phoned Edinburgh City Council and their advice was to send them an email, the reply to that was that they'll get back to me in 10 business days...... I was hoping to move a little quicker than that.

NLC - Extension Planning
Hi, I'm having some difficulty getting a quick answer on a query i have regarding building an extension upto my boundary: I am planning to build an extension to the rear of my 1930s detached bungalow in Edinburgh, I have read numerous publications on the Edinburgh Council website but I am unclear as...

"Not sure what you mean by ‘there will be no more M3s’?" - That should have read 'V8 M3s'.

NLC - Future Classic?
When I was at school my favourite car was a an e30 BMW M3, unfortunately I was not in a position back in the day where I could buy one, now they are stupidly expensive so I wouldn’t even consider going there. Around the same time, my favourite movie was Mad Max 2, and remember fondly ‘The Last of th...

Re: Edinburgh - Galashiels A7 - Snow?
I hear that there is a lot of snow south of Edinburgh, also with a little snow this morning, outside of the city centre, Edinburgh was a very slow moving car park...... took me 50 minutes to travel 6 miles get to the Gyle from near the city centre at 08:00.
I’d give yourself plenty of time tomorrow.

Re: My Evo seems to be shrinking
I've been meaning to cancel my subscription for about a year as I pretty much lost interest in it and also never have time to just chill and read these days. I've got a pile of around a dozen still in their wrapper; only time I read it is the odd time I'm going on a flight an download a copy onto my...
