Re: It’s time...

That is absolutely lovely, but could you stretch to a new Final Edition 390?

Re: Secret features in cars

The petrol cap holder on the inside of the fuel flap on the Evora. (Not my image - arrow is in a silly place) https://www.lotustalk.com/attachments/gas-cap-jpg.1259911/ Noticed a QR code in there? Fast access to the right Rescue Card is crucial in an emergency. That's why Mercedes-Benz was the firs...

Re: Secret features in cars

All BMWs have an indicator stalk hiding in plain sight. Never used. Skoda Superb has umbrella stashed in drivers door. Octavia has ice scraper stored inside fuel flap. Elise S3 has headlamps but beam kept totally hidden from driver. And Skodas have a heated rear screen to keep your hands warm pushi...

Re: Secret features in cars

Was flicking through some old pics to find something and saw and old one of our 3 series wagon. I noted I had the rear boot window open. The frame was so dusty I am sure the previous owner had never used it and probably never knew you were able to open it. Was wondering what other hiding in plain s...

Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?

Bought this a few months ago; 1971 mini 1000. It's very original and still has front drums. It also has KAD suspension arms and brackets, rose petals alloys and advans though. https://gallery.seloc.tv/albums/userpics/21528/IMG_20201018_164147.jpg https://gallery.seloc.tv/albums/userpics/21528/IMG_20...

Re: Bodywork - Glasgow area

A few of us have used Touch Ups in Rutherglen but not for fibreglass cars. They did an excellent job on my 3 series before I sold it.

Re: Cam reprofile for beginner and children

They 290 is the cam duration; there will be lift for 290 of each 360 degree rotation of each cam lobe. In the case of the one AHM/Kent far road cam, the inlet is 290 and the exhaust 262 degrees respectively. The other cam has a duration of 264 degrees for both exhaust and inlet with an overlap betwe...

Any old iron / A series

Having recently bought a 1971 mini 1000, I've realised 30 something horsepower isn't what it used to be. I've dug out my old Vizard book of course. When I last owned minis, there was always someone with a spare engine, not so much now. Wondering if anyone on SE has anything A series at all? Larger t...

Re: Anyone bought or sold a car privately recently?

Sold my 330d via Facebook marketplace and Gumtree a few months ago. Absolute torture.

Bought a mini via Collecting cars after that, very easy in comparison. Actually, too easy. Oops.

Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II Headphones - sold on SE

Brand new in the box Bose QC 35II. These are highly rated wireless, noise cancelling, over-ear headphones with Alexa and Google assistant compatibility. RRP seems to be around £230. Received as a present however I decided I’m happy enough with the B&O equivalents I already own. £sold https://ibb.co/...
