Re: Red Elise on the Galston/M77 road

I suspect that Red Elise lives very, very close to myself but never managed to figure out the owner unfortunately.

If they are on here them give me a ping as would be good to put a name to the car ;)

When do you fancy George?
Should be able to make April/May. Sandra is down in London on business so will try and get some possible dates out later this week.

Re: Patreon!

As philthy need some "sanding" assistance I am happy to host Spanner/Sponge Event 2.

Have enough space for a large number of cars as well. The driveway is chuckies which is not the best for serious spannering but anyone so inclined for serious fettling can use the car shed.

Re: A new Lotus you say?

Pete,

Congratulations, we loved our Evora and with hindsight would have never sold it. Does everything that you want it to do, handle like a Lotus or take you on a long trip (we ventured down to Italy in ours).

Will look forward to seeing the pictures :)

Re: My Emira has landed :-)

Car looks great and hope your enjoy the Emira. After listening to JayEmms review it sounds epic and looks like it will handle like a Lotus should. I have just cancelled my i4 order today due to the ongoing delays and the price hike was the nail in the coffin. Don't want to thread hijack but agree wi...

Re: Glasgow commuting knowledge

Thanks Pete, Sandra has been using the car and its been working out ok going to the Shields car park and taking the subway. Obviously is slow once you hit the motorway and pain in the rear when they have issues with the subway. Think she will continue to take the car as her hours are not fixed so oc...

Re: Glasgow commuting knowledge

Rawsco, Thanks for that, we are in East Ayrshire outside of Galston in the countryside. Suspect any commute via bus would probably mean Sandra leaving the car somewhere like Kilmarnock/Ayr/Troon which may negate any time saved. However definitelty food for thought if it proves a nightmare commute. G...

Glasgow commuting knowledge

As we have now moved to Ayrshire, Sandra has managed to get herself a new job in Glasgow to stop a painfull commute through to Edinburgh. As it's in Glasgow city centre, her thoughts were to go to Shields Road Park and Ride and then take the Subway into the city centre. Just wondering whether anyone...

Re: Emira test drives Lotus Glasgow

I got the email from Lotus cars a while back and noticed that they had launched a loads more dates all the way up to March I think. I have not booked mine as: 1) They were not offering weekend slots 2) I have an i4 slot so although the V6 would be interesting I held off to let anyone with a V6 order...

Re: Opinions on this car

Maybe an opportunity to see whether the price could be subject to inspection then you have more peace of mind or opportunity to walk away.

Know that is not how normal blind auctions but worth a try
