Re: Still not done Stelvio
I’m the same - Stelvio & Furka pass on the bucket list. I fancied tying it in with a Spa Trackday / Nurburgring- few laps Don’t know if it will be this year - as I’ve got lots of trips booked already (not All lotus) David Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I think Vicky's trackday days are over, sh...

Still not done Stelvio
I thought everyone had done Stelvio except me.
I want to go but have ever really put much thought into it until now.
What options are there?
Ferry routes etc.
Who has been before and how did you do it?

Re: S1 lights LED Headlights and driving lights?
First drive in the dark... game changer for an S1. All I need to do now is put LED bulbs in the driving lamps to make them the same colour.

I will add though, don't dive in yet. I will let you know if there are any issue with them after Craig fits them. Hopefully will be getting the car over to him next week if I get home from offshore ok....

S1 lights LED Headlights and driving lights?
I was convinced that my original headlight bowls were going to end up as the cause of an MOT failure. I was surprised when it passed with so much of the reflective coating rusted away. I have taken the plunge and bought a set of replacement LED headlights for the Elise. I had a choice to buy silver ...

S1 Interior Trim...
Am I correct in thinking that the grey interior trim panels in an Elise are actually painted? A few of the trim panels on the car are marked or stained and no mater what I have tried I cant shift the stains. Does anyone have prior experience in refurbishing the trim panels to an almost new condition...

Re: Lucky Escape.. Engine hydraulic!
I think it is on engine no 3 since it came back. Might be the 2nd head and the third bottom end. The one that is in it just now was built by Craig, with a special set of cams that Robin had ordered and never used. All I know is that it is really docile below 5k and then it comes on cam and it is lik...

Re: Lucky Escape.. Engine hydraulic!
The issue was eventually traced to a warped aluminium intake manifold not sealing properly and allowing rain water to leak into the cylinders. This manifold was on the "god knows where it came from" engine that was in the car when I eventually got it back from Dan. I suspect that the engine had came...
