Re: Anyone bought a new car recently?
Congratulations Scott!
After all the twist and turns I'm so glad you've managed to get a slot for the cup, it'll be epic
Need to get my finger out now and get one for the summer!

Re: Exige V6 prices
Your old car coming up at Oakmere really tested my man math skills the other night, looks lovely with the carbon extras!

Re: Anyone bought or sold a car privately recently?
I think most people understand there is the price you advertise for and the price you're willing to take. I'd read it as people just short cutting to the latter tbh. Selling anything these days is a real pita and my last few cars I've just offloaded direct to specialist dealers. Yes, I've lost some ...

Re: Exige V6 prices
I'm just seeing what looks like all S2 Exiges being overpriced! Plenty are well into the 30s, which is madness seeing as that's S3 territory! Not in a position just yet, will wait and see what my thoughts are come springtime I guess :thumbsup I guess the market demands the price, I've not driven a ...

Re: Exige V6 prices
There is slim pickings atm Ross. I'm currently looking for an S2 Exige (190 due to budget) and there is nothing being advertised really. I think a lot of the traders (such as Jon Seal or Will B etc.) will have a very long list of buyers waiting / registered some interest so as soon as they get somet...

Re: Starting the hunt for an s1
Sadly WillB does not do trade ins Scotty! There is a keenly priced yellow one as well but I just don't like yellow (unless it's an utter steal!)

Re: Starting the hunt for an s1
Funny you should post this Andy, I've been doing some thinking and essentially come to the same conclusion. I loved the s1 more than any of the other Loti I've owned but I think that was down to the point in my life when I owned it. If these values are correct I dont think the value is there for me ...

Re: Starting the hunt for an s1
Hey Scott, doing well thanks - managed to get that exige back yet?! Thanks for the input all, it will be interesting to see what happens towards the end of the year as people potentially tighten their belts. The VX has always been a good value proposition as well so I could always take a look at tha...

Starting the hunt for an s1
Hey gang, Been away from lotus for a few years since I sold my europa at the end of 2017 but looking to come back. Looking for an S1 Elise but looks like slim pickings on the usual sites. Quick question, what is available looks quite steep on price, with some s2's now cheaper than many s1's. Appreci...

Re: Knockhill, Saturday 21st March 9-1
Without being all doom and gloom, what are the chances of this actually going ahead?
I was due to come up and stay at my mums with the kids but with them nearing 70 that might not be on the cards.

Re: Anyone know this s1?
Miles dont really pk ut me off, most Elises are more like triggers broom anyway. As long as the tub is good and suspension is good. I'd rather have a well cared for 90k car than a not so well looked after 50k car. I wont be adding much anyway, probably 1500 a year or so max. Just started to look now...
