Spoke to Chrissy yesterday and mentioned your car, give him a shout.

Ross, not for something like that unfortunately.
No probs, cheers Mike.

I've dropped CMC an email to see if they can take it on, and can get it trailer doon.

Re: Long shot - car to Craig at CMC

Depends, what's up? Unknown electrical issue / starting issue. Very intermittent, tried / replaced / cleaned most things already myself with initial success, but back to before. Someone good at electrical fault finding that can diagnose for cash money before I go down the route of new loom / ECU / ...

Re: Car Storage In Aberdeen/Shire

Thanks all for the replies and offers! I've kinda ran out of time to do anything with it now (away this week hopefully!), plus its currently a non-runner so would have to trailer it. I could be away for 3 months (maybe more) so don't want to put anyone out. Its been washed, has a dehumidifier pack i...

It's only 100kgs heavier, the evora isnt that light!
I thought it was nearer 200kg (~1380kg vs. ~1570kg), but its all dependant how its set-up and feels of course!

Re: The evora replacement

I figured that was the case.. The M2 is a chunk heavier than a NA Evora, but that powertrain will haul, so not surprising!

Re: The evora replacement

Nice. Did you not get a 214d badge for it..? How would you rate the on road performance against an Evora NA? My old M135i was quite a rapid thing (its claimed 315bhp being per particularly pessimistic I feel..) once it found traction, and wondered if an Evora NA might feel a touch lacking in straigh...

Car Storage In Aberdeen/Shire

Does anyone know of somewhere decent for relative short term vehicle storage of my Lego Elise?

It would be for 2-3 months.. I might just put the multi-layer cover on, pump up the tyres a bit, and leave one of those anti-moisture things in the interior.. It wont die this way I suppose.

Re: Dreaded Clutch Problem (Sport350)

Also a bit of a let-off for the original dealer. I doubt it, Finance company will likely seek to reclaim its losses. Dealer probably THINKs its off the hook, but I doubt they are. Quite rightly so. Would be good if they ultimately have to pay for someone else to fix it (at full rates) when it would...

Re: New car with a Honda engine... err, it's a Honda

I have zero taste like some of the others, so couldn't deal with this particular Honda, although where as before I would typically have written off most 'FWD hot hatches' as inferior to most 'sports cars' in term of both performance and true sportiness (couldn't think of another word, sorry), since ...

Re: Latest Tax Grab by SNP/Greens (Council tax)

It's an interesting point, especially regarding the 41% threshold. In my case, I was recently doing the sums on taking a lower paid job elsewhere (in Scotland), and actually once I started plugging in the numbers, I was surprised that I wasn't as much out of pocket every month when you had salaries ...
