They currently charge £18 (incl. VAT) per tyre. I guess thats the going rate though, not found much cheaper, and certainly better than the fast-fit places.

Re: What do you love most about your Lotus?

The endless problems, and lack of access whereby a simple job that should take 5 minutes actually takes 4 hours due to space constraints, oh the fact it still ain't fcucking working  Hahaha - amateur  I would have taken ten quid for it last night! Piece of sh*t! Can offer £20, ...

Re: Has anyone openly ordered a V6?

Of course I realise a chunk of weight will be added with the drive train (hence my comment), but according to the Lotus mini site, they are quoting 345bhp, and a pwoer to weight of 298 bhp/ton, which roughly works out as ~1,150kg. Therefore according to that, it weighs 276kg more than a standard Exi...

Re: Has anyone openly ordered a V6?

its going to be about 300kg's heavier i think, so 345bhp might not cut it against an SC Honda - however, once they get the upgrades out there :thumbsup Here's hoping its pretty special in the twisties and under braking - cant wait for a shot :D I really cannot understand where you could add another...

I love how it hides under a Vauxhall badge and shell suit, thus confuses even more people as to what it is... Oh, it drives 'nae bad' either...

Re: Project V6 Elise

Why did you go for a paddle clutch anyway Kev? Alot of the MR2 conversions using that engine / gearbox get away fine with a standard NA clutch and uprated pressure plate, and they are significantly heavier cars - presume this will be tracked? I'm sure Paul will get the gear change sorted for you, as...

Re: Elaine's Supercharger install

Nice. The thing I like about the idea of a SC, is that (hopefully), it will make the car more flexible in everyday driving, and avoid the requirement to use lots of revs to make decent progress. To me I always like to make it 'look' like I'm not trying  In the middle of my DIY SC swap currently...
