The Place to go for brand new, solid oak railway sleepers, 2m long, is; Grants Builders Merchants in Glasgow & Paisley, cicra £20 each.

If you are fit and strong enough, you can probably handle them youself , but best have two folk to lift.

I know what you are going through. After an incident in a rally in my clio172, I spent nearly 10 weeks, being promised the car back from the bodyshop in 'a couple of days'.

Looks good, but don't paint the dash board. In any conditions, but especially when its sunny, the reflection in the windscreen will drive you crazy, not to mention, blind you!
