Re: S3 Elise Light Upgrades

Fitted the Osram Lasers last night, they were certainly brighter and whiter in the garage than the OEM candles, whats the best way to modify the rubber covers so they fit over the right angled connectors?
How do the bulbs come out of the driving lights, do I have to remove them first?

Re: S3 Elise Light Upgrades

So i bought a pair of LED HB3 bulbs, however the heatsink and fan sticks out the rear of the light too far and touches the wheel arch liner, so have bought a Pair of Osram Laser bulbs to try instead, will report back on what they are like.

Re: S3 Elise Light Upgrades

I fitted LED bulbs to my previous VW Transporter, they were amazing at night, but the beam seemed to lose their shape, was forever getting flashed as well, passed MOT fine. My current T6 has Night Breakers. Probably going to try some LEDs. although I can only find one person selling H9Bs. I think th...

S3 Elise Light Upgrades

Has anyone upgraded their S3 Elise/Exige Headlights? Driving my S3 Elise this morning reminded me how bad the headlights are, on my S1 I replaced them with Osram Nightbreakers, but there appears to be less choice for the S3. Headlight (Dipped Beam) HB3A Headlight (Main Beam) H9B Driving Lights ????

Re: S3 Elise S engine mods

I am sure I read somewhere that PB Racing do a 300bhp kit for the S3.
My S3 came with the power pack which has a TRD Airbox and a Sports Exhaust.

Re: Traction Control Light S3 Elise

Think the Traction/ABS/Cruise are all related and a warning lamp is shown on the dash.
Drove 30 miles this morning and the light didn't come on.

Traction Control Light S3 Elise

The Traction Control Light has been coming on occasionally on my S3 Elise, but yesterday it was coming on just by pressing the brake pedal in my driveway. Suggestions on google are that its the brake pedal switch, but further reading suggests that was for the Evora. Anyone have any suggestions befor...

Re: carwow

Was going to 2 years ago when the wife bought a new Merc A Class, but I said to the salesman (Willowbrae) that we could get a 15% discount through Carwow and they knocked that off the price of the car, makes a good negotiating tool. Was back in the Merc garage looking at a C Class estate, and they k...

Re: Hardtops

I did see that Silver hardtop on PH, but by the time I add shipping, painting and the buying the bits that appear to be missing, I may as well wait for one in the correct colour. Other option is to buy the lotushardtops version and put a matt black wrap on it then matt wrap my boomerang (roll bar co...

Hardtops

Looking for a hardtop for my Elise S3, just want to confirm that its the same as an S2 (Short Tail).
Should I be looking for a genuine Lotus hardtop or are the aftermarket versions just as good e.g. LotusHardTops.
And finally does anyone have one for sale, ideally in Starlight Black?
