Re: Aberdeen GEO
I managed to remove a locking wheel nut with one of these http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=109639&Referrer=googleproductlisting&gclid=CIDxsZ3HurMCFczHtAodYQMA-g when the tool snapped in the nut. Took ages mind you, and had to chisel off the outer ring of the nut as it was spinning, then had ...

Re: Cheap Excel.
Prefer the look of the Wedge Elite, and I used to have one which I bought to use as a track car (don't ask why), never used it though and ended up breaking it for spares.
I know of 4 Elites sitting unloved in peoples gardens.

Re: Cycling - NLC
In 20 years of road cycling I have never had to touch a headset, and I cycle in all conditions, get through a few on the MTB though. Gatorskins and Crud Road Racer mudguards for the winter are essential. Get through a few chains/cassettes and rims will wear when riding in the winter, but generally r...

Re: Buying a 2007 320d M sport Touring tomorrow
My last car was an e92 320d, over 80000 mile it averaged just under 42MPG on the computer, it was mostly A roads and Motorways, quite often with bikes on the roof. We found it pretty small inside with 2 kids, now got a new shape A6 Avant, which although nice and big, is not as rewarding to drive as ...

Re: Silicone Hoses
Its an alloy throttle body, but I will probably just order the correct size, as I don't have anything to use as a spacer.
Thanks Doug

Silicone Hoses
I need to purchase a Silicone Hose to connect my Throttle Body to my Air Filter, I require a 45 degree 76mm to 70mm reducer in black, however the only ones I can find have a 4 week lead time, or will be coming from China. Would I be able to fit a 80mm to 70mm or a 76mm to 67mm hose instead? How well...

Re: Radaitor replacement turning into a mini restoration!
My rad housing sealing panel has faded to grey, but I read that with old faded bumpers, you can heat them with a hot air gun and they will turn black again, anyone tried this? I also need to replace my steering rack boots, and wondered if it can be done with the rack in, also read that Fiat X1/9 gai...

I have been to watch every year, and have planned to enter in my TVR Vixen, but always left it too late, maybe next year.
Looks like there will be some interesting cars there including the Ecurie Ecosse transporter with some Jaguar racing cars.
