Re: Curious running problem...limp mode?
Could the issue not still relate to the coil pack, HT leads, Spark plugs or even a Lambda sensor issue or something similar and be related to the load? I think the misfire detection unit is there as there was potential issues for the cat to catch fire so I would be checking out the potential sources...

Re: Newbie In Ayrshire
Good to hear it started, albeit for a short period of time. I took mine out this morning for the morning commute and makes the drive to work all that more interesting. Didn't realise you where at Hyspec Nizzy, few guys from my place moved there, think one was back here in a few months though, Jim Ch...

Re: Newbie In Ayrshire
Cheers...hopefully you'll get the chance. They're both up and running and get driven as often as I can. The Stratos just did a hard 950miles over the bank holiday weekend and never missed a beat.....been a great wee car to be honest. Can't wait for the S1 111 project to arrive......been researching...

Re: Newbie In Ayrshire
Think with being the 111s it has the dual coil pack. Spark plugs, HT leads and coil pack check I suppose? As I said earlier I have no mechanical knowledge however hahawoody wrote:
Also in Ayrshire, also have an S1.
The cylinder issue sounds like it may be HT/dizzy cap related.

Re: Andy and Scott @ Ingliston
The stunt show looked epic from the bits we caught, it was 6 deep at the fence so didn't get to see a whole bunch. It was a very busy day we got there at 10 and never got in until nearer 11am due to the queues outside, I didn't expect it to be so busy. Overall it was a cracking day, and some nice ca...

Andy and Scott @ Ingliston
Got a fantastic day for it and seemed to be a real hit with the crowd. Everyone was commenting on the atom with the sideways antics from scott! Tried a few times to pop over and say hello but always seemed you's where busy and access was pretty restricted.

Re: New House Build - Home Network?
We run cat 6 as standard, infact done a job recently where the client requested cat 7 throughout which is overkill in my opinion. Robins right the transmitter receiver to send HD signal is expensive but it's a solution utilised in many of the installations we do. Rule of thumb is anything over 10m y...

Re: New House Build - Home Network?
If it's a new build it would be wise to totally pre wire your home to future proof your home. If I where you I would be looking to house all my equipment in one cupboard in the home in a rack to feed the rest if the property whatever you need. You need to think about what reception platform you want...
