Re: LoT - Donington & Oulton - 28-29 Oct 2019

Big D, I filled my car up to the neck and managed 268 miles including a quick break at Stirling Services. These days, I need an empty before the car needs filled up. Re: LoT - Donington & Oulton - 28-29 Oct 2019

Nice write up Steve. We had a more straightforward route down via the old M74 which was empty. 😎 Made it home the 244 miles on a single tank of fuel. Good old frugal v6. 😂 Wonder what Doug’s mpg was in the M2? Also huge thanks to Neil for letting me borrow one of his shocks after I realised one of m...

Re: LoT - Donington & Oulton - 28-29 Oct 2019

I've just agreed taking over Campbell's space at Oulton on Tuesday with Paul Golding and also going to use Campbell's room at Sandiways tomorrow night. Short outing but looking forward to getting the S1 back on track, especially Oulton! Sorry again you can't make it Campbell but thanks for your hel...

SIDC at Knockhill - Saturday 5th October

Great photos Steve, I didn’t even put my GoPro on once, was having too much fun. A great day, wet track for the first couple of hours a dry line thereafter. Only one brown trouser moment where expectations exceeded ability. Now I’ve just got to trace what’s causing my side lights to keep blowing th...

Re: LoT - Donington & Oulton - 28-29 Oct 2019

What exhaust is on it, Clarkie? Anyone got a noise meter?! (Robin suggests I nip up to see Sasha at KH, to check my 2bular “Quiet Performance” install!) I think the 380 has the louder exhaust as standard. 105db static at Oulton should be fine. I think mine is around 100db static. 92db drive by at O...

CUP 220 - S CUP or Exige v6

But big disadvantage you can’t take the roof off an Evora :( Elise is talked about for lightness/nimbleness vs S3 Exige. But does the Exige have more stability at speed and in fast sweeping bends (eg North Scotland typical roads) than a later Elise does ? I know James talks about his Elise Cup aero...
