Afraid it sounds about right to me. As a very rough guide , track day insurance will cost you about 1% of the value of your Elise with the excess about 10%

I was about 3 cars behind you - a 55 plate - on - the back road from Broxburn to Linlithgow tonight just after 6pm before it turned off opposite the West Port.
