Re: Pressure Gauge Repairs

I'm curious .... what are you using it for and what sort of pressures are you recording that a +/- 50 psi tolerance is fine! Something industrial?

Double Yellow

A yellow Evora this morning parked on Longniddry main street, then a yellow VX220 Turbo parked in Callander main street around lunchtime. :wavey :wavey

Re: My Ombudsman case

The investigation part was actually quite enjoyable - a bit like when you decide to buy a new car; half the fun is the research. It was dealing with PV initially and slowness of TMO that quickly became tiresome, but was keen to see it through. I guess if my car hadn't had a Mil come on I might never...

Re: Lotus' last combustion-engined sports car incoming

A thread announcing the 'special editions' could quickly become very long! Surely there can only be a finite number of paint jobs and seat embroideries they can do.

Re: My Ombudsman case

Firstly, the image sent by PV of what service dept said they fitted to my car https://i.imgur.com/7Xaegj3.jpg Next, a few pics of the plug taken out my car that PV said was fitted 2 months earlier (Champion) alongside the replacement plugs (NGK) fitted by Longniddry that had been in the car for a si...

Re: My Ombudsman case

June 25, 2018 – I am driving to work in my ’63 plate MINI Cooper S and pull out to overtake a lorry. Mid overtake the amber MIL light comes on. A mile or so later the car starts going into limp mode. Luckily, I am about 2 miles from Longniddry garage where I know the owner – he did all my Lotus MOTs...

My Ombudsman case

Evening all. A little story. I took out a case with The Motor Ombudsman (TMO) and last week I was finally repaid by the garage I raised a case against. The culmination of 2 years! It was for a paltry £120 and the sort of thing I would normally just walk away from, but at the time the attitud...

Glen Etive on a nice day is a great location for some photos. How spirited was the driving? Is that your passenger losing their lunch in the last pic?

Re: V6 Dash removal

Can't help with the V6, but when I got my wee Cooper S it had the most annoying rattle that I couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from. Spent a morning taking the dash to bits, removing the big speedo, rev counter, heater, radio/CD, vents etc. Hundreds of little screws. https://i.postimg.cc/C1...

Speedfair 2008

Came across these the other day and thought I would share. I remember weather wise it was a cracking day. Think that is Brian’s old black S2 with the gold wheels behind me on the track pic and DDtB’s bum in the holding pen pic. This was the full Lotus parade at the end of the day and stretched from ...

Re: New garage door - any supplier recommendations?

Following. Interested to hear how you get on. I am east of you and have struggled to find anyone reliable to come out and fix my faulty electric up-and-over garage door. A hopeless company based in EL that sent guys that wouldn't know what was the sharp end of a screwdriver, two companies not turnin...
