Re: Been fishing with the Lotus?

Was this a charter boat providing rods? if so, how much per head/how many people can it take? Do fancy some struther action Yes, it was a charter, he had a few rods, but most of us had our own (well my mate has about 5 so I used one of his) Boat would probably comfortably take 10 'fishers' no space...

Re: Been fishing with the Lotus?

I was out in a boat on from Anstruther a couple of weeks ago.

Good day, if a bit choppy, 2 guys spent the whole 6+ hours :puke
the other 6 of us filled 3 boxes, mostly mackerel and a few cod.

Re: Tenting and all that jazz...

Rather than buying all the gear, why not go 'glamping' or whatever it's called. You go to a site with tents and all the gear already there and set up. It will maybe save you cash or at least help you find out if you all enjoy camping without buying all the gear first. Other option would be a Wigwam ...

Re: Bernie sold out - F1 moving to sky

A blog from Ben Gallop, BBC's head of F1: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/sporteditors/2011/07/f1_coverage_to_be_shared_betwe.html Reading that he says that the current BBC contract is to 2013, so have they cancelled the next 2 years, or sold part of those rights to Sky? On another note, I hope they don...

Me too, on the van, winter Hankooks are far, far better than the Dong Fengs and other crap that were fitted to it. Still wearing well and no issues with handling etc.
Better traction on wet grass too.

Re: Silverstone GP - any tips for a 3 day ticket holder?

This will seem odd, but I've always enjoyed the Sat best. The race can often lack interest, and the Sun was always that bit too busy . So my advice would be to see everything you want on Sat and just stay at your vantage point / seat on the Sunday. If you've got seats then it's not essential to be ...

Re: Freeveiw how was your switchover .....??

Does this mean I should be able to get freeview on my portable telly in the bedroom? It's a crt connected to an indoor ariel. I tried a digibox on it about a year ago, but the reception was unwatchable, although the analogue signal was fine. I can't be bothered with the hassle of connecting it to t...
